SaaS solution for translators
One of the largest professional translation offices in Greece with European and international clients faced a serious management issue. The challenge was to better manage the work of their individual translators spread all over the world. Each translator worked using his own tools so there was no consistent quality on translated output especially for business or scientific terminology. Moreover, besides quality there was no way to verify quantity of performed work as well.
We recommended, designed and delivered a managed application service using Citrix XenApp application virtualization technology. The result was tight control of work done through the provision of a standard working environment and translation toolset across all translators. Translation quality increased 100%, speed of delivery 200% and prediction accuracy of translation effort spent per project improved 50%
